Ok, kita explore dunia teknologi.
Jom berkenalan dahulu......

Operating system is an integrated system of programs that manages of the CPU, control the input / output and storage resources and an activities of the computer system and provides various support services as the computer executes the application programs of user.

Apa purpose OS ?
- Maximize the productivity of a computer system by operating it in the most efficient.
- Minimize the amount of human intervention required during processing.
- Help your application programs perform common operations such as accessing a network, entering data, saving and retrieving files and printing or displaying output.


Operating System Functions ?

1. User Interface ( muka depan masa buka Computer ) - allow end user to communicate with their OS so they can load programs, access files and accomplish other task.

2.  Resource Management - contohnya, OS detect pendrive.

3.  File Management - contohnya, OS uruskan ambilan fail dan tutupan nya.

4.  Task Management - contohnya, OS detect huruf yang ditaip, sebab huruf " A", computer tak baca sebagai " A " tapi dalam bentuk symbol yang diterjemah oleh OS serta jadi lah terpapr kat skrin huruf  "A "

5.  Utilities and Other Functions - providing a variety of support system.


Operating System Capabilities..

1.  Multiprogramming - OS boleh manage 2 programmes yang buka serentak. Contoh, main music dan buka Microsoft Power Point.

2.  Virtual Storage - breaking down the programs into tiny sections that are read into memory only when are needed.

3.  Time-sharing - allows many users to share computer processing resources simultaneously.

4.  Multiprocessing - Link together two or more CPU`s to work in parallel on a single computer system.
